Capital investment totaled RUB 53.5 billion in Kursk region in 2014
In 2014, Kursk region allocated 52.4% of its total investments for the construction of buildings (except for residential projects) and facilities, 33.3% for the purchase of machinery, equipment and vehicles, 11.9% for new housing projects, the information support management of Kursk region's Information and Press Committee informed referring to the Kursk statistical service.
The highest investment activity growth rates were in the following economic segments: provision of municipal, social and personal services (3.2 times); transport and communications (+69.8%); construction (+50.3%); mineral production (+47.5%); public healthcare and social services (+29.2%); real estate operations, lease and related services (+11.5%); production and distribution of electricity, gas and water (+7.5%).
