Welcome address of Alexey Ulyukaev, Russian Minister of Economic Development
The Central Russian Economic Forum has become a highly effective venue for identifying the development vector of Central Russian regions.
The economic potential of Russia’s Central Federal district arises from its ample industrial, agricultural and social resources. To convert this potential into advantage, the key activities aimed to create a favorable environment conducive to the stabilization of the Russian federal subjects’ economic and social performance currently need to be determined.
The Ministry of Economic Development is actively contributing to the Government’s efforts towards facilitating the support of investment projects, small and medium-sized businesses, stimulating the development of import substitution industries, strengthening the legal framework for the public-private partnership sector and implementing PPP schemes in Russian regions.
I hope that the 4th Central Russian Economic Forum will provide opportunities for the meaningful discussion of development trajectories for the Russian business community. The Forum will be of great practical value for all its participants.
