Welcome address of Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District Alexander Beglov to the participants of the Central Russian Economic Forum

It is my pleasure to welcome the participants, guests and organizers of the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum in Kursk!

The Central Russian Economic Forum has established itself as a landmark event in the life of Central Russia’s regions.

The Forum in Kursk solves the most topical development issues of Central Russia and helps form the framework of the national economic policy.

Every year, the Central Russian Economic Forum addresses interregional cooperation, attraction of investments to regions, implementation of infrastructure projects, modernization and upgrade of territories.

This year’s Forum theme, "Economy in the Interest of New Generations," represents the cornerstone of successful development: strategic vision and education of future economic leaders. The development trajectory we choose today will impact the lives of our successors. The moral values brought to the minds of today’s young people will determine the future power of our economy.

Every year, the Forum gives rise to new concepts, projects and forward-thinking initiative ideas, presents advanced experience and best practices.
