Welcome address of Russia’s Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky to the participants of the Central Russian Economic Forum

it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you at the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum, a landmark event in the economic life of Central Russia’s regions!

There is no way to create wealth without a cultural and spiritual foundation to support it. It is the convergence of the economy and culture that makes the future of the society. Therefore, it seems natural that the main theme of the anniversary 5th Central Russian Economic Forum in Kursk is “Economy in the interest of new generations”. Along with matters related to the application of new technologies and industrial solutions, the Forum will particularly focus on youth employment, health factors for the younger generation and other social issues.
