Welcome address of Russia’s Minister of Sports Vitaly Mutko to the participants of the Central Russian Economic Forum

It is my pleasure to welcome the participants, hosts and guests of the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum, both personally and on behalf of Russia’s Ministry of Sports!

The modern sports and concert complex of Kursk city which hosts the Forum is one of the most vivid examples of the teamwork and cooperation between the Ministry of Sports and the government of Kursk region in implementing the “Development of fitness and sports in the Russian Federation in 2006-2015” federal target program.

The development of sports infrastructure helps promote a healthy lifestyle and physical culture among our fellow citizens. Good health and physical fitness of the people, especially of the younger generation, is one of the signs indicating a stable and prosperous country, improving its image and economic power.

May I wish the participants and hosts of the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum fruitful work, new business contacts, interesting discussions and effective solutions!
