Welcome address of Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev to the participants of the Central Russian Economic Forum

Dear guests, hosts and participants!

I am happy to congratulate on the opening of the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum exhibition, both personally and on behalf of Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture.

Agriculture is considered, with good reason, to be one of the growth drivers of Russia’s national economy. Promotion of Russian products, improvement of their quality and competitiveness have become strategic objectives of the sector. The highly effective wide-scale implementation of the import substitution policy has become a vitally important factor as a cornerstone of Russia’s economic stability.

I have no doubt that the Forum will become an encouraging discussion venue for experts and manufacturers to share valuable experience.

May I wish all the guests and participants rewarding work, mutually beneficial cooperation, achievement of all goals and success in all undertakings!
