More than 1,300 participants registered for CEF 2016 Forum

More than 1,300 participants are currently registered for the 5th CENTRAL RUSSIAN ECONOMIC FORUM which will take place in Kursk on July 1-2, 2016. The Forum theme is “Economy in the Interest of New Generations.” The Forum Events include 12 cross-industry discussions, 2 workshops, 4 exhibitions, 3 competitions.

This year, the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum has considerably expanded its geographic footprint attracting representatives of Germany, Israel, Bulgaria, India, Belarus. Delegates from 12 regions of Central Russia will attend the Forum.

The following speakers have confirmed their participation in the CEF 2016 Forum: Alexander Beglov (Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District of Russia), Sergey Katyrin (President of Russia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Alexander Mikhailov (Governor of Kursk region), Dzhambulat Khatuov (First Deputy Minister of Agriculture), Natalia Larionova (member of the Management Board, state secretary, deputy CEO, JSC Russian Small and Medium Business Corporation), Alexander Ageev (CEO, Institute for Economic Strategies), Nikolay Kononov (Vice President, Public Health League Charity Fund), heads of relevant departments of Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, Ministry of Sports.

The Forum will address a number of topics, including the strategy of creating high-technology industry of the future, development of rural areas and strengthening of Russia’s food security, small and medium-sized businesses in the next economy, city as an aesthetic and functional human environment, preservation of architectural monuments in ancient cities, redevelopment of industrial zones in Central Russia, public-private partnership in the urban infrastructure sector, optimization of interaction between the state machinery and the business community, prospects of introducing the one-stop system in Russia. The Forum will include the cross-industry dialogue “Integration of public healthcare, education, physical training and sports as a public health maintenance factor”, the round table “Preservation and accumulation of cultural heritage for future generations.”
