Investment companies of Kursk region invested RUB 28 billion in agriculture in 2011

Investment companies of Kursk region invested RUB 28 billion in agriculture in 2011. Their total investments in the development of the social sphere in the districts amounted to RUB 127 million, according to a statement made by the information support management of Kursk region’s Information and Press Committee.

As of today, 21 agreements with investment companies are being implemented in Kursk region’s agricultural sphere. Investors are currently managing 66 agricultural and services enterprises employing over 11.7 people. Average wage at the agricultural enterprises as of the end of 2011 reached RUB 14.1 thousand.
